No More Goodbyes

Copyright (c) 19 April 1998, David Alan Quick

Sometimes I see her eyes and I just want to cry
Sometimes I touch her face and she smiles
And sometimes she'll just look at me and melt my fears away
And that feeling always makes it better for a while

I don't know how she touches me so strongly
And I don't think that I really need to know
But she makes my life worth living in the bad times
And she's made it even better since I know

She loves me
More than the greatest lovers the world has ever known
She's taken my heart, she's taken my life, and it's grown
She cares for me
And sun and moon live in her eyes
But when she's sad
A little part of me just dies

In the early days, I didn't know how to care
I broke her heart and mine as well, so cruel
But she brought me back into the light of her life
And since that day I've sworn not to play the fool

But the days are long and the nights are cold when life chooses
And we try to get out, but it doesn't ease the pain
How I wish that I could make it all feel better
How I wish that I could take her dancing in the rain

Because she loves me
More than the greatest lovers the world has ever known
She's taken my heart, she's taken my life, and it's grown
She cares for me
And sun and moon live in her eyes
But when she's sad
A little part of me just dies

And I love her and the light that's in her eyes
And without her, all that's me just wilts and dies...
The only life I have is hers, no more goodbyes
I swear to you, no more goodbyes
